STRONG is a research project that aims to improve the medical care of women and girls affected or at risk of Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) in Germany.
For the website, my concept was to translate this complex and sensitive topic into a clear, accessible and approachable digital experience. I developed the visual structure and interaction concept with a focus on making the extensive research content easy to explore without losing its depth. Modular sections, strong typography and subtle interactions create a structured way of navigating between the different aspects of the project.
